Greetings fellow STAGS...
So further to my last text here are more details...
Meet 4.30 on Saturday at 'The Chandos' Trafalgar Square (29, St. Martins Lane, London, WC2N 4ER [map])
The plan is to move on to a few pubs during the afternoon/evening before going into 'The Comedy Store' at 8.00 for more drinks and the performance. We will stop at one of the pubs along the way for something to eat.
I have booked everyone into the Comedy Store, the cost including booking fee was £18.50 per person, be good if people could give me the cash on the day so that I cover the cost.
Planning a few drinking games along the way... I need someone who can do a good scouser accent, so text me if you think that is you.
Be good if people could get together at 4.30, but if you can't then let me know and then give me a call on the day to find out where we are when you get into town.
Cheers, Ben

Radioactive healing pools
We have had a good couple of days... we have visited some hot spring pools in Radium, they are mildly radio active but we felt quite brave and have spent 2 afternoons swiming in them... They have been developed into quite nice pools, and swiming in the sun in the Rockies is very cool... (I mean hot) the water is about 40 deg C.
We also saw a really cool rainbow the other day driving through kicking horse valley. We could see the whole of the rainbow arch, and drove straight through the end of the rainbow, neadless to say there was no lepracorns or pot of gold.
This morning we did quite a cool hike to Bugaboo water falls, the hike went well even though some of it we acidently went off trail for. Never mind the bears didn't catch us, although we did get eaten by the mosquitos.
Moving on to Banff next, we will probably do the drive to Jasper because it is supposed to be beautiful.

In East Kootneys
Got here safely and without too many near misses (Steve I am sure you are glad to hear that I haven't killed Sarah yet...) Driven over 1700k and am getting used to driving on the right, cruise control is fun.
We have seen some amazing scenery, millions of mountains, but no bears yet. We did go on a hike yesterday until we saw a bear print in the mud and decided to turn back.
We are staying in little more than a shed at them moment, although it has got satellite TV. I haven't missed an England game yet and have even caught a few of the other games. I can't believe how rubbish England are at the moment...
We are going to stay here for a few days and then find another cabin in Banff which is nearer to Calgary where we fly out of on Thursday.
The weather has been rubbish generally. Loads of rain, but we are more hopefull now that we are slightly more east.
Anyway... Looking forward to catching up with everyone when we get back... (Sorry Diana L, can't catch up with you so easily)
